At the beginning of the pandemic our virtual workload doubled with all the workshops we were able to deliver to a now-global clientele on zoom. The administrative end of new influx of clients, however, soon became overwhelming. Sandra took over management of our calendars, scheduling, and other details like our submission calendar upkeep which requires a lot of self-directed choices.
          It is a pleasure working with Sandy. She is conscientious, intelligent, communicative, and discerning. She has allowed us to offload many of our administrative details onto her, freeing us up to do the part of our work that productively earns us income. I highly recommend her.

In the winter of 2022, Amherst Writers & Artists’ Press received more than 1600 submissions for their 2022 publication of Peregrine Literary Journal. We had 20 first readers lined up to help with the screening process. Everything needed to be downloaded from Submittable, catalogued and cloaked for blind judging. It was an organizational task of mammoth proportions with a short deadline.
Sandy stepped into this urgent situation and calmly, swiftly and efficiently transformed an overwhelming situation into a series of files that could be distributed and tracked. We made our deadlines thanks to her dedication. We’ll definitely be calling on her expertise again.
